The short story Understanding in Alensha is the story of a young thief who attempts to impress Knights of Enaerai and thus join their ranks,
but ends up learning more than he might have bargained for through the
experience.
Another short story, The Wind in His Blood, is the background story for a character I once played, an air scholar named Harakan. He was a knight of Enaerai as well, during his mortal years, though that is only hinted at in this story.
