This page contains creative works and information about the online fantasy role-playing game Avendar: the Crucible of Legends.

I've been a fan of the game ever since it was opened for public play, and have enjoyed playing and then working as an area builder (Rahh-Nefor and Nordath) as well as an immortal (Enaerai). And though this page tends to get neglected at times, I post various things I've made and think others might appreciate.

04.28.03: New Poem

"I've Been Too Long A-Wandering" now on the poems page. I'm not sure if this one will go into an area or not. :)

01.07.03: Smaller Map Available

Click here for a much smaller (100K, reduced and cropped) version of the map.

09.17.02: Avendar Poster/Fliers

A great way of paying back the people who have put so much work and effort into this game is to help advertise it. To that end, I've made some pdf posters with tear-off URL tags. Please feel free to chip in and help pay back those who've worked to develop Avendar by downloading, printing, and posting these wherever appropriate.

I also have a simple links page for the MS Word docs, and for the fonts I used. The posters probably won't look right in Word unless you also download and install the fonts I used.

09.15.02: Two Additions to Poems Page

Since I'm going through the subpages and updating the layouts, I thought I'd add two new songs I've made for the area I'm currently building.

If you'd prefer to experience them for the first time in the game, then by all means don't go to the poems page and read The Wishcrag Song or The Squire's Troll Song (for Lack of a Better Title at the Moment).

09.14.02: Major Layout Update Begins

I've just updated the layout to reflect a far more modern webdesign look. I'm still messing around with it quite a bit.

The background image comes from Larry Elmore's website. Though I was rather attached to that J. E. Bowser goddess image from the previous layout, I have to say that I like this image even more.

There are no tables on this page--the content boxes are all handled through CCS. I originally based it on this far-cooler-looking CCS layout example, and then modified it a good deal. I also used info from Eric Meyer's Boxpunch page to preserve the area around the background image's top left corner.

09.14.02: Some Old News

June 30, 2002 - A large new map (1.2 Megabytes)--a hack of a nice middle-earth map.

Feb 27, 2002 - And why did I think I'd have the energy to keep up with new polls? *chuckle* The Knight page is updated to notify of its outdatedness, due to the new Enaerai and Knights stuff (yahoo!)
