Jasa Lake
The Aragol river, east of Var Bandor, pours out towards Jasa Lake. With calm waters, many fisherman have found the lake to be an ideal spot for their relaxing past time. The Jasa area has served as a the home for numerous forms of life. Nevertheless, despite its proximity to Var Bandor, the inhabitants of the Jasa area still remain underdeveloped.

Because of the swamp-like surroundings, even saurians have begun to take up residence, are often the ideal prey to the graduates of the nearby Var Bandor School of Heroes. Adventurers are warned not to travel to very depths of the Jasa waters, as rumors have emerged, telling of a dangerous creature that has found refuge at the depths of the lake (surprised?).

The southern portion of the area belongs to a small fishing village, where others can even invest in fishing supplies to start their own fishing expedition. Several others often travel out from the village to harvest the various sea herbs of the lake, mainly the popular mussels of the lake. Some however, have taken to the more nefarious trademarks of the lake: the frogs.

Highlights:

  • A lot of lowbies fresh out of the academy often form up (melee classes can probably solo it) and find their way here to fight the srryn. Be careful of the female one though, she is a bit protective of her srryn friends, especially if you start cutting one down in front of her.

  • Mussels. Just break them open first!

  • You can fish in Jasa lake, which can be entertaining if it's your thing. It's also a source of food at the lowest levels. Search the area and figure it out if this past time intrigues you.

Things to be careful of:

  • Going underwater. If you're a lowbie, you don't want to be under there.

  • Rehaeda, a possible lowbie/cheaper than usual healer.

  • Picking up seaweed.

  • Running out of MV. Seriously, this is an MV sucking zone for a lowbie's tiny MV pool, so be a little on the cautious side. Running away is pointless if you don't have the MV to make it to the zone boundary, after all.

  • The frog. Just don't. :P
