A peaceful little village situated within the forests of Nendor,
Eril is probably the epitome of blissful innocence. Littered with
shops and peaceful villagers, this little town is most famous for its
market place.
The village, for the most part, seems to take care of itself, however
there are some guards watching over the market place, although their
security is nevertheless very lax. The elder, Qaranstan, keeps watch
over his village from his small house on the northwestern side.
Because the village still remains somewhat obscure amongst the adventurer
population, many choose to hide in Eril for one reason or another.
It is not uncommon to find the villagers of Eril murdered in the streets themselves,
and looted of their precious, and usually magical, trinkets.
Highlights:
- Probably the first big equipment area for lowbies. There's a
fair amount of stat equipment here, and it's definitely worth your
while to investigate. Most, if not all the mobs are lightwalkers,
so lighties should be able to take advantage of request as well.
- There's a pretty extensive "Jam making" quest here. Although
the quest does take you outside of Eril and into other wilderness areas,
in order to gather the necessary ingredients.
- A lot of people choose to hide here, but I can only recommend
laying low here for so long. Eril is now easier to find, and it shouldn't
be long before people incorporate it into their search patterns.
- One of the ethron cuties here sells flowers, an item that I've found some people
really have no idea where to find. There's also some other interesting RP type shops here,
which are definitely worth checking if you're looking for some props.
Things to be careful of:
- Eril has been moved from its old location, which was by the more evil
half of Nendor. It is now in a much safer location. Look for the signs
in Nendor for assistance.
- Falling in love with Eril cause it's so dang cute, and the little
lovable ethron who you just wanna tweak, and then there's the little
wittle ...
Fun facts:
- One of Aeolis' more famous followers, Aehaeser Raemis, erected his
family loft within Eril, for his wife Aesai Raemis, and their daughter.
